Is Secrets.ai legit? Plans, privacy and cancelling
Short answer: Secrets.ai is a real AI companion platform for adults 18+, run by a US company, with published prices and a simple online cancellation. You're talking to AI characters, not people. The things to understand are its "Moments" currency, which pays for images, video and calls, and the fact that cancelling doesn't delete your chats.

Moments are the platform currency. Text chat doesn't use them, but images, video, calls and some extras do. Paid members can buy top-up packs, so heavy media use costs more than the plan price.
What's reassuring
- Published prices and a clear help wiki.
- Cancel anytime online, and keep access until the end of the paid period.
- A generous free tier to test before paying.
- A discreet, consistent billing name.
What to watch out for
- Media costs. Moments run out faster if you generate lots of images or video. Decide on a monthly limit.
- No partial refunds. Its help pages say cancelling stops future charges but doesn't refund the current period.
- Data stays after cancelling. Chats, memories and generated content are kept on your account after you cancel. If you want them gone, you'll need to delete the account or ask support.
- Annual plans. The yearly price is much cheaper per month but paid up front. Try monthly first.
How to cancel Secrets.ai
- Go to Settings, then Manage Subscription (or the Subscription page).
- Click Cancel Subscription, give a reason if asked, and confirm.
- Your plan stays active until the billing period ends, then the account moves to Free.
- To remove your data as well, delete the account or email [email protected] and ask for deletion.

One of the more transparent AI companion services on pricing and cancellation. Start on the free tier, go monthly before annual, and keep an eye on Moments if you use images or video.
